Job Description

• You will work within the External reporting team who are responsible for the accurate and timely reporting of all regulatory reporting for the Insurance Group. You will have exposure to a number of different reporting requirements under both GAAP and IFRS and key relationships both internal and external to company.
• You will also be responsible for the production and first level review of all Reinsurance technical statements and settlements across the insurance division. They will also support system and regulatory changes within the team, ensuring the on-boarding process for new clients is set up and accounted for correctly as well as ensure a strong and effective control environment exists with a specific emphasis on improving month end close and regulatory accounting processes.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Reinsurance experience would be advantageous but not essential
• System knowledge of Microsoft suite and SAP would be ideal but not essential
• Part Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, AAT or Equivalent) or qualified by experience
• Motivated and delivery orientated focus
• Able to work well under pressure
• A proactive, forward looking and challenging mindset
• Detail focused with great organization and planning skills
• Ability to interact with and develop working relationships internally and externally in order to achieve best outcomes for the business and customer
