The Finance Systems Accountant's key responsibilities will include:
- Taking the lead on financial systems related projects, including implementations.
- Manage the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics
- Review systems performance and identifying system issues.
- Look at the suitability of all financial systems in the business, and suggesting improvements going forward.
- Review systems performance and identifying system issues.
- Design and implement system controls (preventative and detective) to provide quality assurance over financial data.
- Implement, review and maintain all financial systems, policies and procedures, ensuring compliance to public company standards.
- Train and support finance and non-finance team members in the use of financial systems and procedures.
- Collaborate with department heads to understand their specific financial system and reporting requirements.
Designing and implementing systems strategy.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will have implemented Microsoft Dynamics (Navision) and will have a proactive approach to their work. You will be able to work independently and as part of the wider team and be able to communicate efficiently across all levels of the business.
The candidate will ideally a CIMA finalist who is looking to qualify and progress.
