Job Description
Direct responsibility for accounting adjustments required to transactions from our package travel booking platform in our accounting system Netsuite.
Reconciliation of member credits between internal customer platforms and posting of necessary adjustments,
Review & accounting of systematic reports for package travel revenue streams and associated payment service provider (PSPs) charges,
Performing some key supplier reconciliations,
Post the intercompany adjustments and transactions,
Working closely within a team of five accountants to ensure package revenue and costs are accurate, along with the relationships to the wider finance team & group departments,
Support & execute standard monthly timetable tasks.
Assist with year-end accounts preparation including balance sheet reconciliations
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Have demonstrated experience in accounting (either through work or university)
Part-qualified in ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent
Possess strong attention to detail whilst being pragmatic
A mentality of ownership and delivery
Excellent verbal communication with the ability to communicate clearly & effectively with colleagues at all levels
Excellent Excel skills (Knowledge of Pivot tables and VLOOKUPS is expected)
Cleared to work in the UK/EU
Experience in a similar position and in a dynamic multi-national environment is beneficial
Experience of NetSuite is preferable but not essential
Experience of Excel Power Query or SQL is advantageous
