Job Description
  • Perform Cash reconciliations for Store and Web channels, checking reconciliation between POS Sales vs receipts. Identification and follow up of variances. Additionally, monthly till float reconciliations.
  • Reconciliation of Stock between BI and CEGID (POS system) for store and warehouse, following up on any variances identified with stakeholders
  • Reconciliation of cost prices between BI and CEGID (POS system), following up on any variances identified with stakeholders
  • Monthly reconciliation of Web Sales between OCMS and CEGID, and gift card balances
  • Calculation of monthly retail bonuses for store personnel
  • Weekly reporting of Discount and Margin, analyzing performance vs target and last year
  • Liaise with IT and external providers on distribution of PDQ machines in store, payment interfaces (Ogone, Paypal, Amex)
  • Turnover declarations to Landlords and to external bodies
  • Business credit card management
  • Helping reconcile monthly cash and sales figures in SAP with the GL team.
  • Management of Retail store queries regarding cash/card postings
  • Management of cash process at the store, liaising with G4S on setting new stores and dealing with the queries.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Business/Accounting/Finance Degree or equivalent
  • Retail (or equivalent) experience distinct advantage
  • MS office skills, especially a high level of Microsoft Excel (Vlookups, Hlookups, Sumifs, Pivot Tables, Charts)
  • SAP / BI / Tableau / Trintech / TM1 / COGNOS knowledge distinct advantage but not essential
  • Ability to priorities multiple responsibilities and tasks, working independently
  • Show critical thinking, ownership and good analytical skills
  • Have attention to detail
  • Team player
  • Be curious, open minded, pro-active and responsive

Education:

  • Diploma of Higher Education (preferred)
