Global business headquartered in London is currently looking to hire a Group Reporting Manager into a newly created role. Reporting into the Finance Director you will take ownership of the development and of the finance function and mentor and train a team.
The role is to interview immediately, and the key responsibilities will include:
Take ownership for Month end – overall responsibility for producing the Group Reporting Pack (including actual, budgets and forecasts).
Maintenance and control of the ledgers on Dynamics 365
Lead on the set up across all ledgers, set up and test of new companies, intercompany relationships etc.
Take direct responsibility the preparation of the accounts for the holding companies, ledger reconciliation etc. and assisting on the trading companies.
Intercompany and group transaction processes, monthly reconciliation and agreement of intercompany accounts.
Supervision of the management accountant.
Preparation and maintenance of the budget and forecasting model.
The successful candidate will be/have:
Professional background, qualified accountant, ideally ACA with a practice background
Good knowledge of IFRS.
Strong direct experience of group accounting, including a good understanding of complex consolidations.
Experience of using group consolidation systems
Strong advanced Excel knowledge.
