Job Description
  • Assist the EMEA Financial Controller with ongoing projects
  • Provide financial expertise and support to the EMEA Finance team
  • Ensure appropriate controls are in place and reviewed as required
  • Liaise with key internal stakeholders as required
  • Act as key interface between auditor & accounting staff
  • Liaison with local accountants in UK, Poland and Luxembourg to ensure timely & accurate filing of statutory accounts
  • Improving controls / reporting / process and system efficiencies, and presentation of business-critical analysis
  • Ability to adapt to ever changing workload priorities with a willingness to take responsibility and ownership of role
  • Demonstrable time management skills
  • Good communication skills, both written and oral with a confident manner and the ability to liaise with all levels of employees
  • Ability to work both autonomously and within a team
  • Organized and results focused
  • Professional approach to working environment

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Hands on approach to financial management
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills
  • Qualified Accountant with either ACA, ACCA or CIMA
  • Ideally at least 4 years post qualification experience
  • Have strong interpersonal skills to be able to communicate and influence
  • Experience with preparing UK Statutory Accounts using IFRS is desirable
  • Strong working knowledge of all aspects of financial operations, statutory requirements and compliance obligations
  • A strong career in finance and accounting with demonstrated business experience operating at a senior level
