Job Description

You will work closely with the event management teams, offering guidance and support across all financial elements of projects. Ensuring project budgeting is accurate and projected profit targets are met. You will provide an essential link between finance team and the project management teams and conduit for financial information flow.

You will hold the following responsibilities:

  • Commercial understanding of legal contracts for project delivery
  • Proactive approach to overseeing all financial elements of projects, including working closely with internal event management teams and supporting them to ensure projects are budgeted accurately and profit targets are met
  • Playing a key role in improving project profit margins and efficiencies
  • Ensuring key project financial information is shared and flagged with the finance team
  • Financial project reporting for senior management
  • Cash flow preparation and reporting
  • Supporting in process and systems development/improvements

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Part qualified accountant - ACA/ACCA/CIMA or QBE
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Management experience
  • Experience of NetSuite, Sage and Xero (preferable not essential)
  • Proven organizational skills
  • Embrace and champion behaviors
