Job Description

You will be responsible for providing a focus on external reporting, such as tax and audit. This role also supports the month-end process and will be a key component to the control framework.
Your responsibilities will include:

  • Fundamental understanding of the various tax returns within the group. This will include the need to liaise with the Tax team and colleagues across Finance.
  • Assist with the input and reconciliations within AlphaVAT for MTD purposes.
  • Utilizing various systems, including NetSuite and TM1 to aid the VAT return process.
  • Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring all outstanding items are cleared and corrective actions undertaken. To also perform system reconciliations to GL, ensuring no breaks.
  • Running the central cost allocations process and booking PI provisions & prepayments.
  • PSA analysis + calculation and liaison with the Tax team.
