Job Description
You will be responsible for providing a focus on external reporting, such as tax and audit. This role also supports the month-end process and will be a key component to the control framework. Your responsibilities will include:
Fundamental understanding of the various tax returns within the group. This will include the need to liaise with the Tax team and colleagues across Finance.
Assist with the input and reconciliations within AlphaVAT for MTD purposes.
Utilizing various systems, including NetSuite and TM1 to aid the VAT return process.
Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring all outstanding items are cleared and corrective actions undertaken. To also perform system reconciliations to GL, ensuring no breaks.
Running the central cost allocations process and booking PI provisions & prepayments.
PSA analysis + calculation and liaison with the Tax team.
