Job Description

They are seeking an experienced, hands-on and business facing Production Accountant. Reporting to the CFO.
Key Responsibilities
 

• Manage production finance for multiple productions
• Managing the relationship with production management teams to ensure accurate forecasting, planning and reporting of production spend throughout the whole
• Monitor production expenditure and projections against budget (working in multi currencies)
• Monthly reporting of costs internally and to external stakeholders ensuring accurate allocation of costs
• Monthly cashflow reporting internally and to external stakeholders
• Consolidation of production cashflows, forecasts, budgets and cost reports
• Reforecasting as required
• Challenge actual or potential variances
• Managing production recharges
• Production recoverability / profitability analysis
• Cash management including production payment runs
• Preparation and management of production audits
• Management of Tax credit application process and production compliance in conjunction with external accountant.
• Development budgeting review and cost comparison
• Preparation of production cashflows / budgets / profit statements
• Working with production team to develop production budgets
• Appraisal of production budgets from production partners
• Modelling of production financing
• Transaction processing and reporting on accounting system

Required Experience
 

• Extensive production accounting experience
• Previous exposure to international co-productions preferred
• Accounting qualification preferred
• Languages desirable
• Sage experience preferred
• Excellent communicator skills both written and verbal
• Ability to influence, challenge and build relationships
• Strong excel skills
• Attention to detail
• Deadline / delivery oriented

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
