Job Description

You will include working with the Project Delivery leads to ensure the successful delivery of technically complex projects across multiple teams within the department by:

  • Assigning appropriate technical resource assignment
  • Creating, updating, and maintaining project plans and tracking status of key deliverables with project stakeholders
  • Tracking project milestones
  • Creating and maintaining project team sites and ensure that documentation is stored correctly
  • Creating and maintaining project RAID log and working with project team to understand key risks and issues and suggest appropriate mitigations
  • Be responsible for organization of key project governance meetings; work with the Delivery leads to agree agenda and capture minutes, actions and decision and ensure that they are distributed and followed-up on by attendees
  • Using a combination of waterfall and SCRUM methodologies tools and techniques to manage workload and project progress across teams
  • assign with service providers
  • Working with internal technical teams to provide status updates
  • Running small technology procurement projects.

This role is in an agile team, collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders so excellent communication skills are essential. You should be methodical, highly organized and detailed orientated and have sufficient technical expertise to be able to offer technical insight into the progress of the project and identify and mitigate risks. They should be able to demonstrate a previous track record of delivering projects in a similar organization, coming from an Infrastructure or DevOps environment.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • High standard of written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent facilitation, collaboration, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Focused and versatile team player who is comfortable under pressure, ambiguity, frequent change, or unpredictability
  • Demonstrable ability to understand and relay business objectives
  • Experience in working within different process frameworks of lifecycles (i.e. Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall)
  • Experience of using a variety of project management tools (e.g. Jira, Trello, MS Project, etc.)
  • Good understanding of project management concepts
