Job Description

As a team we support schools across the county and run a very busy and successful training and networking programme for governors and clerks. You will support the Governor and Clerking Service in a variety of administrative tasks across these exciting initiatives, and will gain exposure to a wide variety of aspects of work in a fast-paced environment with the opportunity to develop new, and enhance your existing skills.Your responsibilities will include attending and learning to minute team and external meetings, supporting with planning and running both face-to-face and virtual training events, supporting clerks across the county to provide excellent service to their boards, and helping to manage our busy email inbox and queries from our schools, colleges and businesses.

The role will provide you with practical employment experience, learning on the job, whilst undertaking a nationally recognized qualification. Observation and assessment will take place throughout the term of the apprenticeship to build upon your levels of understanding leading toward your qualification.
