Engineering Administration Assistant
Job Description
The Engineering Assistant will provide administrative support to all operational projects in the engineering and geospatial & visualisation teams as required, examples may include:
- Organising travel, accommodation and transport
- Booking training and monitoring and updating training records
- Sending digital and printed reports to clients
- Sending digital and printed letters
- Maintaining key supplies such as PPE, clothing, postage materials & USB sticks
- Supporting HSE documentation processes
- Supporting ISO documentation processes
- Supporting travel visas and documentation process.
- Assisting with the creation of work packs
- Producing reports on project progress for sales and finance teams
- Managing data, ensuring it is in the correct location and backed up on servers
- Managing action trackers
- Managing emails
- Ensuring timesheet sign off
- Identifying systems and process efficiencies to improve performances
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Successful track record of successfully working as an administrator in a busy operational environment. Experience of booking international travel with excellent written and verbal communication skills and a keen eye for detail. Previous experience of supporting international operational projects Good organisational skills Experience of working in an engineering environment Experience of booking international travel MS Office skills – intermediate Excellent written and verbal communication skills Competent in understanding complex project plans in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail Clean driving licence
