Job Description

You should enjoy working within a dynamic team with the opportunity to contribute to the development of its delivery of proactive business partnering with key stakeholders within the Professional Services.

You will be passionate about capital accounting and project monitoring and will also have the opportunity to develop both your management and financial accounting experience as you contribute to the completion of the University’s monthly and statutory accounts, key reconciliations and other corporate returns as well as engaging with internal and external auditors.

You will have the opportunity to be the finance lead on individual capital project boards and will have line management for up to 3 members of staff (based on the current structure) and should have good communication skills. You should be willing to embrace integration and co-operation between teams, including the sharing of knowledge and good practice.

This post is based at our lively campus where we have invested in the latest facilities and resources to give both our staff and students access to everything they need to succeed – £300m has been invested recently on new state-of-the-art learning spaces and accommodation while we continue to develop incredible new facilities to enhance our offer even further.
