This listed, international e-commerce business are now looking for a Financial Accounting Manager to lead the UK Accounting team. Global revenue is in the billions across multiple platforms and the UK contributes around 30% of global revenue and growing. With numerous awards showcasing their industry performance and recognised as one of the top companies to work for, there’s no surprise they have a strong following of people wanting to work for them. This role sits within their UK finance team and will lead the day-to-day activities of the accounting team, having overall responsibility for the UK close, local GAAP compliance and US reporting, tax and treasury. The position requires the ability to effectively manage a team, developing, coaching and mentoring, as well as review of work. You will manage all financial accounts for UK companies, month end and year end accounting processes, corporation tax and VAT returns, whilst looking to improve processes and setting controls.
