Job Description

To accurately recognize NHS and Private revenue into the Profit and Loss account each month, and assist in reconciling and investigating any resulting debtors.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assist with the monthly NHS and Private revenue process, ensuring data is accurately recorded in line with the reporting deadlines
  • Perform reconciliations of debtor balances and investigate any outstanding balances
  • To respond to queries from the Dental practices as to how income has been recognized
  • To maintain accurate records for audit purposes
  • To assist the Revenue Team Leader on an ad hoc basis

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • A financial background (AAT or part qualified accountant)
  • A good understanding of double entry accounting 
  • Previous experience of Revenue Accounting and reconciliations 
  • A good communicator
  • Strong excel skills
  • Pro-active and has a ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Team player
  • Background in Healthcare industry (desirable)
  • Experience in working with CODA (desirable)
