Job Description

To act as an agile member of the Finance team, working on projects such as dentally and the Finance System Upgrade, as well as acting as support for Finance functions during busy periods.

The key aspects of your role will be:

  • To assist with key projects, such as dentally and the Finance System upgrade, communicating all issues and concerns to the project lead.
  • Act as cover for Finance functions when key members of a team are heavily involved in projects or there is a sustained period of leave in a team. This could include assisting with month end tasks, reconcile balance sheet accounts and follow up on any issues/ queries raised. 
  • To provide ad hoc support for the wider Finance team.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • A qualified/ part qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • A good communicator
  • Pro-active and has a ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Team player
  • Background in Healthcare industry (desirable but not essential)
  • Experience in working with CODA (desirable but not essential)
