Job Description
The role will manage and own many priorities, deliverables and key stakeholders. Developing and delivering plans that successfully mitigate risks, deal with ambiguity and define the strategic direction of MFB.
You'll have the following responsibilities
- Accountable for defining accounting rules within the Consolidation system BPC to prepare statutory Reporting including P&L and BS Hierarchies, Cash flow movements and OCI & SOCIE calculations
- Own the relationships necessary to implement reporting deliverables with the Technical Accounting Team
- Lead, coach and mobilize other team members to define metrics and performance goals for the tower
- Accountable for the master data changes, standard business rules and configuration for Consolidation and Group Reporting
- Ensure new ways of working are fully understood by the Technical Accounting Team and wider business
- Lead and partner with the business and external team (TP & SI) to ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with MFB governance, framework and ways of working
- Identify and manage critical path dependencies as part of supporting the development of the overall Record to Report roadmap
- Define and own detailed plans to meet programme and transformation milestones, escalating risks, issues and important decisions to the relevant governance body as required
- Accountable for compliance to standards, controls and procurement policy
