Job Description
You will report directly to the Board to provide financial leadership and maximize value creation, whilst ensuring legal compliance, and managing risks to the business. This is a newly created role for this high growth privately owned SME and it will provide the opportunity to play a key part in the on-going upwards trajectory of the business. Key responsibilities will include:
- Overall responsibility for the Finance Department, being the go-to person for the Board on all financial matters
- Develop and maintain the strategic plan, budgeting and forecasting with the ability to prepare financial plans that incorporate the key drivers in the business
- Prepare financial analysis for contract negotiation and product investment decisions
- Maintain a standard costing system to ensure accurate materials costing and price changes are tracked
- Develop and deliver best practice on all financial aspects of the business
- Maintain and strengthen the internal control environment
- Undertaking special projects as directed by the Board
