Job Description
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR Department to include Letter requests, filing, scanning of documents etc.
  • Ensure efficient data entry of all relevant HR records to the HR system.
  • Ensure that HR records are accurate and up to date and all documentation is complete.
  • Provide assistance and support in all aspects of the recruitment & selection processes.
  • Deal with internal and external enquiries or pass to the relevant HR Officer as appropriate.
  • Ensure all advice is given in line with local HR policies and procedures.
  • Support the department in the preparation of HR Reports as identified.
  • Input Absence Management data onto the HR Time and Attendance system including medical certs and return to work interview forms.
  • Follow local policy to process statutory and family leave applications ensuring HR system updates and payroll updates are done in a timely manner.
  • Assisting with the preparation of documentation for payroll purposes regarding new hires, leavers, promotions or other change of status.
  • Partake in projects as and when required
  • Deliver a professional and consistently high level of customer service
  • Assist the HR manager with medical manpower rostering
  • Undertake other duties appropriate to the post as may be assigned to you from time to time.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Have achieved Leaving Certificate and/or a minimum Level 5/6 on the QQI National Qualification Framework.
  • Have a minimum of 2 years administrative experience working in a similar environment of which a minimum of 1 year work experience must be in a Human Resources department.
  • Excellent communicator with good written and verbal ability.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel Desirable Criteria:
  • Working towards or achieved a minimum Level 7 qualification in Human Resources on the QQI National Qualification Framework.
  • Demonstrates experience of using HR Systems eg MegaHR/SAP etc.
