Job Description

The role will predominantly focus on your ability to successfully make fact-based decisions, with the overarching aim of providing the best possible commercial analysis.

The role will primarily involve:

• Supporting us with clear, rational commercial analysis to help inform business decision-making and scenario planning.
• Taking the lead on reviewing, understanding and challenging business performance on a regular basis.
• Support in the analysis of monthly and quarterly performance for reporting purposes.
• Generating meaningful insight into any issues arising, or as part of any upcoming investment proposals.
• Provide detailed financial support as part of any financial planning/ budgeting processes.
• Liaising with the team to support with any financial forecasting requirements and analysis.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Proven commercial finance experience in a fast-paced corporate environment.
• Experience of financial planning and budgeting.
• Proven analytical and financial skills, with high degree of competency in financial modelling.
• Proven ability to influence key stakeholders using good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in managing projects and project teams.
• Highly proficient in Excel, with an ability to create and adapt financial models to create analysis to enable decision-making/investment appraisals.
• Experience of working in the consumer FMCG and/or brand led sectors.
• Ambition and self-motivation, with ability to self-manage time and priorities.
• Naturally curious and not afraid to ask difficult questions
