You’ll be responsible for managing the internal and external financial reporting of the Group to the highest standard. You'll proactively work on the future of reporting, reflecting developments in business strategy to support our purpose. You’ll be passionate when it comes to their development, providing coaching and reviewing monthly consolidation, annual report, and statutory accounts. As an excellent communicator, you’ll liase with external auditors as well as tax advisors to ensure a good understanding of the Group’s tax position. You’ll thrive when researching the latest developments in IFRS, considering the relevance, implications and impact of these on the Group’s reporting. With a forward-looking approach, you’ll constantly be looking for opportunities to change and develop business reporting, for instance TCFD reporting. You’ll be responsible for the management and development of PowerBI reporting to meet the needs of the finance team. In the role you’ll also prepare CFO reporting explaining financial performance after consolidation, including variances from budget.
You will be a qualified accountant with excellent attention to detail and a technical accounting background. We are looking for someone who is proactive and motivated to produce high quality work, and who enjoys coaching and developing others.
