Working as a Corporate Accountant, the successful applicant will be responsible for the financial control of the ledger on a UK GAAP and IFRS basis (Trial Balances, P&L and Balance Sheet etc.), prepare annual financial statements for the UK Holding Company and Corporate Members, ensure timely and accurate monthly reports are created for Management with commentaries, assist with tax regulatory requirements such as Corporation Tax Compliance, Lloyd’s returns, CBCR when required and support the Manager with all finance related projects. (These will focus on systems, controls and procedures)
Applicants must have an insurance background and ideally be fully qualified accountants with experience of accounting under UKGAAP, have strong reconciliation experience and possess advanced Excel skills (SUMIF, Pivots, VLookup). Any UK Tax knowledge is desirable and certainly advantageous but not essential.
