Job Description

• Design and improve best practice financial models across a range of functions
• Assess and help with the long-term funding model
• Partner with senior stakeholders and assist with any modelling requirements around new strategy initiatives including market launches
• Ad hoc FP&A work which could include projects such as detailed cash flow/working capital forecasting
• Assist with the preparation of budgeting templates
• Present financial models to senior and non-financial audiences, ensuring that both inputs and outputs are clearly understood

The client is looking for a Financial Modeller who as well as clearly needed to be an excellent modeller, must have a strong wider group finance and FP&A skill-set. The is a day rate opportunity looking for someone to join initially for 6-12 months.

As the Financial Modeller, this role will have significant exposure to the entire business strategy and will need to understand the impacts on the global markets. The role will report into the Head of Modelling but will work collaboratively across a number of functions to assist with forecasting and business case proposals etc.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Brilliant excel skills and ability to apply best practice modelling to new and existing models Strong financial knowledge, ideally a qualified accountant Excellent in person, ability to present to finance and non-finance Ideally an understanding or previous experience within subscriptions
