Job Description
You will take both operational and strategic responsibility for the success of the contract, from a financial perspective. You will sit on the senior leadership team and be tasked with implementing robust financial controls and driving change when needed.
What will this role involve?
- Managing production of monthly financial results, ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements and providing insightful analysis on variances;
- Working with CVL senior management (both internal and external stakeholders) to optimize performance;
- Managing production of budgets and forecasts;
- Supporting internal and external audit processes;
- Managing the reporting requirements of the client, providing support where necessary to Welsh Government;
- Delivery of the new business essentials model across the team, ensuring a joined-up approach between Finance, Commercial and Operations;
- Implementing best practice processes and exploiting the use of SAP for internal and external reporting.
