Job Description

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

They are looking for someone to deal with accounts preparation work on a range of small businesses (sole trade, partnership and limited companies) as well as assisting the partner with some planning work. It is likely that there would also be some quarterly management accounts preparation and some self assessment tax return preparation to do. There may also be some VAT return work to do.

The firm needs someone who is able to hit the ground running so previous practice experience of at least 3 years is essential, and ideally you will also be a whiz on Xero because a lot of the client records are prepared on Xero (although training on Xero can be provided if required). General computer literacy and familiarity with accounting packages will be required though.
