Job Description

Your responsibilities will be to:

  • Lead monthly management accounts and forecasting for sales down to gross contribution
  • Support the Finance Controller in developing and maintaining relevant business processes and controls
  • Support the Finance Director and Head of Business Systems with the development and running of an effective management information system
  • Ensure adequate controls for the P&L down to GC
  • Provide reporting and analysis to support Commercial and the kitchens
  • Provide decisional support to gatekeeping, Capex and promotions
  • Develop and support a business-wide automated KPI reporting process (MIS)

Support the Site Finance Business Partners in delivering the following;

  • Managing the Kitchen P&Ls
  • Understanding the drivers behind the trends in variances to Std
  • Helping the Kitchens review and update Live Standard Costs
  • Providing challenge and support to the Site Leadership Teams
  • Providing financial input into major site projects
  • Develop and coach the Site Business Partners

Finance Controls down to GC & Others Key Areas

  • Ensure complete, timely and accurate reporting, forecasting (LE) and Budgeting for Bighams from Volume down to Gross Contribution.
  • Work with the Controller to ensure good control framework is maintained and effective across all business stakeholders that impacts sales to gross contribution
  • Support the Finance Director with developing and delivering a business partnering strategy and framework across the whole business
  • Play leading role in continuous development of data driven and automated reporting across Bighams (dashboard/MIS/EIS etc) to enable self service approach and allow finance to move resources to decision support and analysis based insights & challenge

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

We’re looking for someone who is a qualified accountant with at least 5 years PQE (ACA/ACCA/CIMA). You’ll be a confident and engaging communicator with a “can do” attitude. We are looking for someone who has experience in managing and developing team of high performers. You’ll also be comfortable working in a fast moving and agile environment.

Requisite experience and skills for this role are:

  • Experience of working in a medium or large company with modern reporting and data management processes, ideally in an FMCG or manufacturing organization
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Ability to manage and delegate workload and priorities tasks to meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop positive relationships
  • Accurate with high level of attention to detail
