Job Description

This role will be based predominantly from home until early 2022 when we will move to a hybrid working model, which will provide the opportunity to work from home up to three days per week, meaning you must be in a commutable distance.

  • Inform business leaders and support their decision-making through commercial understanding of member retention
  • Support in the development and maintenance of a suite of reports that fulfil the needs of stakeholders, incorporating both volume and value measures
  • Provide business area with effective financial insight, analysis and challenge
  • Provision of financial appraisal and decision support
  • Understand the Group Strategy and Five-Year Plan
  • Support the business area in developing annual budgets and forecasting
  • Effective and efficient accounting, producing timely and accurate numbers
  • Enforce standards and controls of Board, Group Finance, and regulatory bodies
  • Deliver success through building and maintaining effective relationships and partnering disciplines

To be successful in the role you’ll be a commercially focused accountant with experience of business partnering. Demonstrating gravitas and credibility, you’ll have excellent relationship building and communication skills with the ability and confidence to challenge constructively. With excellent financial modelling skills, you’re organized and analytical, can assimilate information and make decisions quickly whilst comfortably balancing conflicting priorities.
