Job Description

Your key responsibilities and accountabilities will include:
1. Transfer pricing :

  • Oversight of the Company’s transfer pricing matters and partnering with multiple stakeholders to provide support on transfer pricing related issues
  • Co-ordinate programme of preparing transfer pricing documentation to support intra-group transactions in compliance with local regulations globally
  • Review intercompany pricing arrangements across all aspects of cross border transactions and ensure robust documentation is in place
  • Regular monitoring of results and forecasts from a transfer pricing perspective
  • Providing advice on transfer pricing implications of new business initiatives
  • Supporting transfer pricing audits, including assisting the local businesses in responding to tax authorities on matters and queries relating to transfer pricing

2. Country by country reporting:

  • Monitor requirements for CbCr globally and ensure compliance with all associated reporting requirements
  • Develop the process for CbCr reporting in line with thresholds

3. Overseas tax compliance tracking compliance, working with key stakeholders to identify, manage and monitor tax risks and opportunities
4. Controlled foreign company’s compliance
5. Financial reporting – support the group tax manager with the tax reporting of overseas entities for group reporting purposes
6. Advising on tax aspects of profit repatriation and ensuring withholding tax clearances and certificate of residence or similar are in place where required
7. Pro-active tax advice/ support/ project work either international or UK focused depending on requirements with proven ability to document tax analysis, research and conclusions in a structured manner
8. Support the Group Tax Manager and co-ordinate with other team members on key projects as required
9. Stay up to date with key international tax developments and assess their impact on the business

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • You possess a degree in Finance, Law, Economics or similar and ACA or CTA qualified (or equivalent)
  • You have at least 3+ years’ post qualification experience in a similar role with proven advisory and compliance experience across direct tax, international tax and transfer pricing
  • You have strong analytical skills and a high attention to detail
  • You possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with different stakeholders and convey complex information in an understandable manner with the ability to adapt to the audience
  • You are reliable and well organized, with the necessary skills to plan, priorities and manage your workload to meet deadlines. You demonstrate ownership of responsibilities and a pro-active approach whilst keeping the Group Tax Manager informed
