Job Description
The role holder will provide key input into all aspects of the initiation, requirements, design, build, test and rollout of the new systems in conjunction with the SI and other members of the project team and the wider global finance team.
The post holder will work on the following activities:
- Assisting in defining the project scope and working with SI to outline objectives
- Gathering requirements from business units and users and translating/documenting into technical business requirements
- Hands on application design, build and test each product component and provide post-production support, including:
- Responsible for configuration and mapping old structures
- First point of contact for any queries/data needed
- Build report specification and required suite for Phase 1
- Data migration and management
- Data reconciliation and user preference testing
- System testing and validation
- Devising training and UAT
- Deployment of new toolset and retirement of the old system
- Development of reporting and dash boarding to meet business requirements
- Working closely with the SI to ensure that project deliverables meet the requirements
- Hands-on work with the application to develop the necessary parts to attain a point of functional usage.
