Job Description

Key projects:

  • Leading the Group accounts preparation. This will involve project managing a number of key stakeholders (the statutory team, tax, treasury, markets) to ensure results are accurate and delivered on time.
  • Managing the UK statutory accounts including communication of results to the UK Directors.
  • Draft and co-ordinate finance Audit Committee papers.
  • Lead the statutory forecast process.
  • Lead the annual reporting to banks, including working with the treasury team.

Monthly tasks:

  • Review statutory monthly adjustments for the Group.
  • Support team and review the monthly Statutory Board Pack which is distributed to the CFO and the executive team.
  • Review the Group Cash Flow and assessing these movements.
  • Oversight of the guarantee provision process from concept to ensuring consistency of application across the Group.

Adhoc tasks:

  • Contribute to accounting, system and compliance finance projects as required.
  • Update and advice on internal accounting policies.
  • Provision of technical accounting advice to finance teams across the Group.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

You will be a qualified accountant (with 4 years post qualification experience) with statutory experience ideally from a practice background, with strong technical accounting knowledge and experience in dealing with global consolidations under IFRS.

  • Strong organization skills and thorough attention to detail
  • Ability to priorities effectively and manage a number of concurrent deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills and used to communicating financial information to a range of audiences
  • Proactive and able to quickly grasp new issues with a mindset to drive change and improvements
  • Experience of working in an international Group environment
  • Experience with our financial systems - S4 HANA and OneStream
  • Awareness of corporate tax issues
