Job Description
  • Lead on documenting and understanding the existing SQL Databases
  • Develop and Implement group wide Data Governance policies
  • Act as day-to-day Data/BI System support to all departments
  • Support your manager in seeking ways to automate and standardize reporting across the Group
  • Build robust Reporting Suites that measure financial and operational performance (Power BI)
  • Partner Department Heads and Finance BPs, to understand performance drivers and standardize KPIs
  • Support your manager in prioritizing System Development requests
  • Bi-Annual Pricing review, including competitor product and pricing analysis
  • Quarterly Sales & COGs Forecasting/Budgeting, including scenario planning
  • Product Development & Strategy processes, providing financial and non-financial input
  • S&OP process – Partner sales and product teams to aid planning and decision making
  • Develop data governance policies
  • Document and develop understanding of key databases and tables
  • Develop a data dictionary
  • Develop “one source of the truth” reporting capability for the whole business, including of assessment of potential system requirements
  • Finance support for product pricing
  • Facilitate S&OP process
  • Commercial and financial support for product development and product strategy process
  • Management of 1 direct report supporting data

  • Qualified accountant
  • Sound understanding of systems
  • Strong data analysis skills and ability to interrogate and manipulate data
  • Ability to build reports from multiple sources
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to cut through the data to highlight key messages and trends
  • Successful change management / financial transformation experience
  • Strong Excel modelling skills
  • A strong leadership profile; confident presenting at Board level
  • An innovative problem solver
  • Self-sufficient Hands-on nature/”roll sleeves up
