Job Description
  • Business Support; Business Partner for 1 - 3 business units, helping with forecasts, providing robust pricing assessment and profitability assessment for project bids and leveraging our proprietary metrics to identify suggestions to improve business performance
  • Control Environment: Robust review and control of project accounting, identifying and tackling business risk head-on. Able to enforce current controls and develop new controls appropriate to a dynamic and changing environment; especially bringing new acquisitions into our framework of transparency and accountability.
  • Finance: Experiences with accounting guidelines both internally and externally. WIP / POC, IFRS experience is a plus, balance sheet reconciliations, IC, Prepayments, accruals, credit control. Corporation tax experience is a plus.
  • Reporting: Internal and external reporting including monthly and quarterly reporting to Canada and statutory audit of the annual report.
  • Staff: Overall responsible for the finance team in UK including direct line management.

You will have a CIMA or ACCA qualified with at least 5 years post qualification experience together with advanced Excel skills including Pivot tables, Look-up functions and similar as it is essential for all analysis and reporting duties. A background from in the audit industry is preferred as well as experience from the business.
