The business has been undergoing continued and sustained positive growth. A mix of remote/home to office working will be on offer with at typically a minimum of two days in the office a week required as part of their working policies moving forward. The firm also provides highly competitive benefits and salaries with flexible hours. Part, up to four days a week or full time working arrangements are equally of interest to explore.

You will take responsibility for the delivery of year end accounts, bookkeeping services, , preparation of VAT returns and involvement with wider services. You will work on varied clients mixed in industry range and turnover. Clients are primarily limited company, OMBs, SMEs well into the £millions in turnovers. Alongside this they act for a significant number of smaller sole traders, start-ups and other clients. You will carve a key, support role here to managers and directors with increasing responsibility, client contact and development on offer with the role and firm.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

You may be an AAT qualified technician, or you may have developed your career through experience to date only and be looking to build further on this, in a hands on role. Most importantly, as a key requirement to be considered for this role and firm, you will have developed experience across any of year end accounts preparation, bookkeeping, preparing vat returns, , management accounts etc. within an accountancy practice firm of any size, as a Senior Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant. You will have at least three years or ideally more experience, developed across any of these areas, within an accounting firm / accountancy practice environment, as a key requirement. Part time or full time working arrangements can work up to four days a week, or full time equally of interest to explore. A mix of remote/home to office working will be on offer also, certainly in the short term.
