Job Description
  • Check and file production paperwork, ensuring the correct documents from each production run are on file.
  • Issue relevant controlled documents to the production lines as appropriate.
  • Maintain document control system.
  • Gather documentation relating to customer complaints and respond to customers.
  • Trend customer complaint data and issue reports.
  • Raise non-conformance paperwork and ensure all are signed off in a timely manner.
  • Ensure internal audits and other routine tasks are carried out to the agreed schedule, and that completed documents are retained on file.
  • Place purchase orders and update the system as and when goods arrive.
  • Liaise with pest control contractor and issue work requests.
  • Gather internal and customer-specific quality KPI data.
  • Send routine and ad-hoc samples to customers and suppliers.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Previous experience of working within a quality control and/or manufacturing environment – ideally in food or related industries. Beneficial to have previously worked in a technical or lab environment. Team orientation and a collaborative working style. Good IT skills. Ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment.
