The role will support with the delivery of specific areas of UK finance, as well as assisting the wider group. Areas of responsibility include supporting with month end postings & reconciliations, providing regional revenue and lease accounting support, day to day delivery of the UK entities’ annual audits, and involvement in group wide change initiatives.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• A newly Qualified Accountant (ICAEW, CIMA, ACCA), with strong academic achievement and relevant experience.
• Strong technical skillset.
• II:I or better (equivalent) from a reputable University.
• Exposure to groups across multiple jurisdictions (multiple GAAP & currency) is desirable.
• Strong technical accounting skills, with an awareness of IFRS and how this interacts with local GAAPs is desirable.
• Excellent system and modelling skills (SAGE, excel, BI and other related systems).
• Analytical in thinking. Able to present information, issues identified and potential solutions.
• Individual must then be focused and organized in implementing these solutions
