Job Description

The role reports into the Group Financial Controller but will collaborate with various Finance and IT stakeholders both internally and externally. You will have strong communication skills and should be comfortable liaising and collaborating with the various stakeholders, some of which will be at a senior level. Later phases including stock management will be required.

It is expected that you are proficient in experience and qualifications to be able to demonstrate ability in these areas as you will be expected to hit the ground running. You will possess a can-do attitude to your workload with the ability to be able to manage competing priorities. It is a prerequisite for the role that you have solid Finance Systems implementation skills (Oracle NetSuite preferred). SAGE 50 experience would be an advantage.

• Partnering closely with teams to ensure that NetSuite is successfully implemented globally
• To become our Finance Project Lead
• Map current processes
• Roll out across multiple entities in multiple countries
• Suggest improves for best practice
• Be the go to person for Finance System queries and support in training the team on how to use the system
• Be able to create effective reports and MI
• Look for opportunities to make processes more robust/efficient
• Be conduit between Finance and IT teams

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ideally you will already have experience with NetSuite but we are looking for someone who has previously implemented a financial accounting system
• You will have expert project management skills and the ability to work closely with stakeholders to ensure the project is running effectively and on time
• Extensive experience with managing, operating and improving financial accounting systems and working with the third party provider to ensure the system is working to its optimum capacity
• Accountancy qualification - essential - (qualified)
• Resilient and driven with experience working in fast-paced business
