Job Description
  • Liaising with clients and third party solicitors;
  • General file management, typing and scheduling;
  • Day to day management of conveyancing files with an opportunity to be responsible for files;
  • Shared reception work and day to day office administrative tasks including accounts entry;
  • Handling of files post completion to include dealing with stamp duty returns and registration applications;
  • Preparing loan documents; and arranging closings;
  • Dealing with phone calls and emails in a prompt and efficient manner.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Good work ethic and willingness to learn;
  • The ability to priorities and organize workload with minimum supervision;
  • A high level of motivation and an ability to act on one’s own initiative;
  • Must work well under pressure and attention to detail is very important;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, i.e. Word, Excel, Access and Outlook;
  • Audio transcription work;
  • Experience with bookkeeping and Lex accounts package an asset.
