Job Description
- Liaising with clients and third party solicitors;
- General file management, typing and scheduling;
- Day to day management of conveyancing files with an opportunity to be responsible for files;
- Shared reception work and day to day office administrative tasks including accounts entry;
- Handling of files post completion to include dealing with stamp duty returns and registration applications;
- Preparing loan documents; and arranging closings;
- Dealing with phone calls and emails in a prompt and efficient manner.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Good work ethic and willingness to learn;
- The ability to priorities and organize workload with minimum supervision;
- A high level of motivation and an ability to act on one’s own initiative;
- Must work well under pressure and attention to detail is very important;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, i.e. Word, Excel, Access and Outlook;
- Audio transcription work;
- Experience with bookkeeping and Lex accounts package an asset.
