Job Description
  • Ownership of IT reporting including:
    • IT cost Centre production
    • Monthly project allocation
    • Management of non-vehicle fixed asset register
    • IT budgeting and forecasting preparation and presentation Assist in the annual budgeting and quarterly reforecasting process; perform & annotate monthly variance analysis
  • Clearly summarize management information for distribution and presentation to key stakeholders, including the senior management and Board of Directors.
  • Take ownership of accounting for overhead costs, posting monthly accrual and prepayment journals
  • Prepare overhead data for the monthly finance pack for allocated areas
  • Complete balance sheet reviews for cost related balance sheet accounts
  • Compile monthly reporting overhead packs
  • Establish and build effective relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Ad hoc projects as required

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Professional accountancy qualification (minimum AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA/CIMA Part-Qualified)
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Finance role
  • Competent user of Microsoft Excel (comfortable with pivot tables, nested formulas, key functions including VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, IF, SUMIF, SUMPRODUCT etc.)
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Good time management and organization skills
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently, asking for support or input from line manager and colleagues wherever required
  • Exposure or desire to learn technical programming languages e.g. SAS, SQL, VBA, Crystal Reporting, Power
