Job Description

This role will ensure that our finance teams can build their plans in the system, keep them up to date as things change, and that we capture the right view of internal trading and product volume forecasts with sufficient detail to drive value add. The role holder will become the go to expert on Group internal trading for planning and volume forecasting.

  • Accountable for managing the Group financial overlay process
  • Own and deliver the annual Group volume and internal trading planning cycle
  • Help lead on setting the Group internal trading policies and processes
  • Shape future planning enhancements using SAP
  • Provide analysis and insight into the Group internal financial and volumes
  • Review and query product volume and internal trading forecasts submitted by our unit finance teams
  • Create and maintain documentation for all of the group planning systems and related processes
  • Provide leadership to the Planning & Systems offshore team: helping to develop and motivate an experienced planning hub

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA)
  • Story-telling with data: strong skills in building the case for change, drawing on data and analytical techniques where appropriate, and communicating this to business audiences
  • Business acumen: Knowledgeable in business strategy and drivers of organizational performance, including people drivers of performance and financial literacy
  • Stakeholder management: working with finance teams across the Group to reach agreement and alignment
  • Strong systems knowledge: Excel, PowerPoint and SAP
