We are looking for an experienced credit controller who can work using their own initiative. Ideally, you will have worked within construction and will be familiar with retentions and applications for payments. We are a friendly team of 3, soon to be 4!
Role Overview
Ensure payments are made on time and in full
Treasury duties - posting bank and reconciliation
Assisting with month end reporting
Process incoming funds
Reconcile invoices
Resolve account queries and manage debt recovery
Work towards and meet monthly targets
Manage and review credit limits
Cash forecasting
Arranging credit checks
Administration duties as required
Role Requirements
Essential:
Good working level of ICT skills on applications such as Excel, Word and Outlook
Good administration skills
Practical approach to work and problems
Relevant experience within a similar role
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Desirable:
Credit control qualification
Experience of construction including stage payments and retentions
