Ensure strong financial governance and control as well as thorough production of timely and relevant financial and management reporting and analysis to support the countries in which CMC operates.
Financial Control
Run month end consolidation process
Prepare end of year statutory accounts for Group and Holding companies and assist with auditors’ queries and deliverables
Responsible for the control of inter-company reconciliations across the group
Review the balance sheets of various entities across the Group and ensure accurate and up-to-date balance sheet reconciliations are produced and maintained
Implement and adhere to internal control procedures within Finance Department
Adhere to internal and external financial reporting and tax deadlines
Liaise with Tax Department to assist with tax compliance and effective tax planning
Maintaining the books and records of the Employee benefit trust and liaising with the trustees on all accounting queries and issues.
Regulatory Reporting
Support Prudential Regulation team with any queries they may have on an ongoing basis for regulatory submissions.
Budgeting and Forecasting
Assist with the budgeting and forecasting processes for the group
Process Improvement
Work with other regional Finance Managers to maintain, develop and implement consistent and best practice financial control procedures across relevant entities to ensure accurate recording of transactions in the Company’s financial reporting systems.
Keeping up to date with accounting standards (IFRS) and ensuring compliance across group
Other
Assist with monthly bank covenant reporting
Assist with producing and updating transfer pricing models and other ad hoc reports and analysis including liquidity management

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
