Job Description
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to –
- Assisting forecast completion for 12-month and 10-year periods, collaborating with project managers; conducting variance analysis including financial risk commentary.
- Assisting with management information in preparation for Monthly Financial Performance reviews by wider delivery team.
- Monitoring and recording spends using a variety of financial reports and systems; and reconciliation with accounting systems to produce month end management accounts.
- Scrutinizing supply chain performance data to assist completion of monthly accrual journals with robust supporting evidence.
- Monitoring spend against approved limits ensuring agreed accounting policies are applied correctly.
- Working with Finance reviewers (from the Finance & Accounting function) to ensure correct financial treatment and working with colleagues to make necessary corrections.
- Assisting the preparation of audit packs for review by the National Audit Office.
- Supporting the Project Performance Review process: working closely with the project team to ensure that the project schedule aligns with the forecast and to support the feeding of data into the productions.
