A highly established top 20 firm in Central London are recruiting a newly created, client facing Management Accountant role. The firm is highly established and are well known by their work with both public and private sector clients. They can offer the successful candidate excellent opportunities for progression as well as in depth exposure to the firm's key clients.

I am recruiting a Management Accountant, who must have experience working for owner managed businesses, across a variety of sectors. You will be a qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) and will have at least 3 years experience in preparing management accounts statutory accounts and VAT returns.

You will lead assignments, supervising between 2-4 staff depending on the size of the clients and report into both Managers and Partners.

Management Accountant responsibilities

• Providing accounting and advisory services to corporate team
• Recommending improvements to the clients' accounting systems and controls
• Preparing accounts from client records
• Preparing full statutory accounts under UK GAAP and supporting schedules in preparation for audit and assist auditors with any queries they have.
• Liaising with corporation tax, VAT and Payroll teams as appropriate for advice and review.
• Assisting with the preparation of financial forecasts for inclusion within FCA applications
• Assisting with the preparation of FCA financial returns, preparation of ICAAP's and capital issuance forms
• Preparing VAT Returns, including partial exemption calculations
