Job Description
  • Plan and schedule trailers.
  • Track shipments and liaise with the operations team in relation to shipment planning.
  • Liaise and update customers by phone and email re shipment status.
  • Regular update meetings with customers about shipments where SLA may be impacted.
  • Provide reassurance to the customers and teams that you are in full control of their shipments.
  • Create loading plans.
  • Booking in trailers through the company’s own in house system.
  • Ensure compliance policies and procedures of the company are followed.
  • Other ad-hoc duties as required.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • 3+ year’s experience in Logistics and Distribution industry.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong planning and organizing skills with the ability to multi-task whilst working to tight deadlines.
  • Good team player.
