Job Description

* Develop and maintain all necessary systems, policies and procedures to ensure effective and efficient management of the company's finances and compliance with statutory requirements.
* Develop, control and monitor the company's monthly and annual operating budget to ensure that all financial targets are met and financial and statutory regulations complied with and advice managers of any significant variances.
* Produce all necessary statements and reports to enable the accurate measurement of cash flow, profit and loss, stock and debtors etc.
* Prepare the company's monthly and yearly financial accounts to ensure that these are presented accurately and on time and ensure that the company complies with legal and business requirements.
* Provide financial advice and guidance to the company's managers and staff to enable them to understand financial and budgetary requirements.
* Direct and control finance staff to ensure that they are appropriately motivated and developed and so that they carry out their responsibilities to the required standards.
* Monitor external contracts and services provided by suppliers to ensure that these provide the best value to the company.
* Provide a comprehensive credit control service to the company so that the potential for bad debts is minimized.
* Managing personnel policies including staff terms and conditions of employment and to ensure that the company complies with legal requirements and best practice
