Job Description

Your primary role will involve answering phone calls to donors, processing donations and fulfilling donor requests by email, phone and post. You will also be required to work with the Office Manager to provide support in arranging meetings and other activities related to our fundraising efforts.

Responsibilities

  • First point of contact to clients - phone and email
  • Manage internal CRM database ensuring details are verified
  • Assist Office Manager with general operations and day to day administration
  • Manage travel arrangements, transport and accommodation bookings and processing expense claims according to policies
  • Contribute to overall team performance, including support and assistance to other team members
  • Ensure inbound calls and emails are answered in a timely and professional manner to maximize customer service
  • Schedule meetings
  • Take minutes
  • Opening, recording and processing post in line with internal policy
  • Any other ad hoc duties as assigned by the office manager

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Polite and courteous phone manner
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to participate actively as part of a team to produce good quality work and seek help from and provide support to others
  • Confident in helpfully sharing clear, accurate information
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Awareness of the importance of confidentiality in a project of this nature
  • Good organizational and administration skills with careful attention to detail
  • Competent in MS Office, Office 365, Microsoft Teams and SharePoint
  • Capacity to complete work in a timely and accurate manner
  • Ability to pay attention to detail and to take responsibility for ensuring that work is completed to a high standard
