Job Description

Our client is currently looking for an Administrator for an organisation based within the Kingston upon Thames area to start ASAP.

The role is open to 2nd jobbers / recent graduates without relevant experience who can demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and communications skills.

START ASAP

This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate with excellent administration skills / PA /Secretarial skills ideally with some exposure or skills gained within the social housing sector. Duties will include:

  • To work along side the PA to provide administrative support to the Company Secretary, Head of Governance and to provide administrative support to the Board and committee meetings.
  • Assist in all legal and administrative matters relating to the acquisition of properties, property leases, and
  • associated contracts and agreements; and contracts and agreements with local authorities and business
  • partners.
  • Manage, monitor and update the Association's insurance portfolio; liaise with the organisation's insurance
  • brokers to ensure appropriate assets and risks are adequately insured with continuity of cover.
  • Support the development of an integrated marketing and communications strategy using SOCIAL MEDIA tools which supports the organisation's strategic objectives and long-term vision; and to help develop and implement a Communications and Marketing Plan.

Personal Attributes:

    • Company secretarial or Secretarial /PA and/or administrative skills gained preferably within a corporate environment / housing association or Registered Provider of Social Housing (RPSH).
    • Candidates from other sectors - not for profit, charity, professional body and corporate sectors will also be considered
    • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills required
    • Must be a flexible, team player
    • PA, minute taking and travel organisation skills essential
    • MS office skills essential
    • Social Media / Marketing skills
