Job Description

We are currently working on behalf of a market leading infrastructure and transportation business who are looking fora Lead Internal Auditor .

You will work closely with senior management to identify and manage business risks. The Lead Internal Auditor will be responsible for planning, delivering and reporting on a range of operational audit reviews across the group. This is not a financial audit focussed role, and the successful candidate can expect to be involved in capital projects, project assurance, operational audits, risk management, as well as business continuity and corporate governance reviews.

The successful candidate is expected to have at least 2 years internal audit experience gained within either a Big 4 practice or a complex listed organisation. They should also have extensive experience of working with senior stakeholders and managing large and complex portfolios of work. The ideal candidate would also have some experience of programme/project assurance. Experience of the transport, logistics, construction or infrastructure sector are also advantageous but not a must.
