Job Description

 

  • Continuously monitor time & material spend, against predicted budget, for development activities and design services.
  • Proactively work with Product Owner to keep development activities to budget and time.
  • Generating appropriate budget reports and communicate results to Programme Manager and management team as appropriate.
  • Work closely with Finance to assist in monitoring operating costs for the business.
  • Liaise with 3rd party design resources, and tracking their development activity timescales and costs.
  • Gatekeeper for all deliveries prior to shipment.
  • Collate engineering time sheets
  • Set up Engineering project booking points

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • MS office with strong excel skills
  • Good analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with various teams at varying levels
  • Ability to work on more than one activity, with capability to context switch as required.
  • Able to interpret information and dates and present in a coherent and logical manner.
  • Ability to negotiate and compromise to find the best solution
  • SAP knowledge would be an advantage but not a requirement
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; must be able to read and prepare documentation in English.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
