Sales reconciliations and working with the other departments and stakeholders to manage and understand the drivers for control accounts
Month end reporting to include creating and posting journals
Ownership and production of P&L's, Balance Sheet reconciliations, identifying risks and opportunities, to include liaison with other teams where appropriate
Providing results commentary and analysis
Identify and recommend process improvements to ensure efficiency and fit for purpose
Support on audit and audit queries
Any other ad-hoc requirements
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
A full accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), or qualified by experience
Prior experience of Management Accounting roles in other businesses
Ability to adapt and be flexible, the team portfolio is constantly changing so the post-holder will need to be able to react to the needs of the business
Excellent IT skills, including strong excel
Strong attention to detail
Proven ability to build strong relationships with other areas of the business and non-finance teams
