Job Description
  • Sales reconciliations and working with the other departments and stakeholders to manage and understand the drivers for control accounts
  • Month end reporting to include creating and posting journals
  • Ownership and production of P&L's, Balance Sheet reconciliations, identifying risks and opportunities, to include liaison with other teams where appropriate
  • Providing results commentary and analysis
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to ensure efficiency and fit for purpose
  • Support on audit and audit queries
  • Any other ad-hoc requirements

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • A full accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), or qualified by experience
  • Prior experience of Management Accounting roles in other businesses
  • Ability to adapt and be flexible, the team portfolio is constantly changing so the post-holder will need to be able to react to the needs of the business
  • Excellent IT skills, including strong excel
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with other areas of the business and non-finance teams
