Job Description
- Sales reconciliations and working with the other departments and stakeholders to manage and understand the drivers for control accounts
- Month end reporting to include creating and posting journals
- Ownership and production of P&L's, Balance Sheet reconciliations, identifying risks and opportunities, to include liaison with other teams where appropriate
- Providing results commentary and analysis
- Identify and recommend process improvements to ensure efficiency and fit for purpose
- Support on audit and audit queries
- Any other ad-hoc requirements
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- A full accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), or qualified by experience
- Prior experience of Management Accounting roles in other businesses
- Ability to adapt and be flexible, the team portfolio is constantly changing so the post-holder will need to be able to react to the needs of the business
- Excellent IT skills, including strong excel
- Strong attention to detail
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with other areas of the business and non-finance teams
